Cant get XIAOMI devices into edl

Hello,

First Im trying to use Xiaomi account remove in those devices:
Redmi 5 plus
Redmi note 4
and its not working!
how can i do it?
except that trying bring both devices into EDL mode via fastboot, but than it is only rebooting.
is it possible to bring them into the mode anyway?
