Job Summary
We are currently looking to recruit a Mobile Phone Repair Technician full time.
The work environment follows ESD principals for bench work; examining PCBs, diagnostics, multimeter checks, liquid seal testing, screen replacements and board fixes. An IPC Soldering Qualification / Level 2 soldering would be ideal but relevant experience in the above will be suitable to qualify for a soldering test and interview.
Skills and responsibilities include:
Consistently ensure that the efficiency and quality of each repair processed are to an extremely high standard.
Maintain a clean and organised work station at all times.
Meet daily expected output targets.
Perform preliminary functional test to reproduce fault/s
Fault finding between software and hardware fault
Level 2 wearable parts replacement
Level 3 board repairs
Carry out onboard component rework where required
Accurately record all work completed within internal systems
Candidate Criteria:
Experience of component level repair on high-end mobile phones.
Good soldering and rework skills
Up to date knowledge of modern technology
Experience of working within a targeted, fast-paced environment
Good communication skills
Ability to work fasts and efficiently
