I have a recently olx purchased Samsung Verizon S4 SCH-i545 with Android 5.0.1 installed. There are two issues which I am facing.
One is I am unable to connect this phone to PC. When i connect the data cable it just beeps and starts charging. No option for "Connected as Media Device" is coming. Nothing is shown on PC. No option is available to connect it manually through usb in storage options. I enabled the USB Debugging option but still no option through USB connection is available. I tried after changing the data cable but no success. The Samsung usb drivers were uninstalled and re-installed but nothing. I tried after converting the device into Download Mode and connect it through odin but it is not connecting.
Second issue is that the device has hidden codes disabled and I cannot even check the IMEI # through the code. I tried after rooting the device and change the values of buildprop and hiddenmenu files but still the same issue.
